Alright bro, I really didn't want to get into this stupid battle over a band NAME, I never knew of you guys at all. We thought it was ok to take the name cuz you guys hadn't been a band for three years. When we first were thinking about that band name the whole band got wasted one night and through out a shit load of band names on the table and at the end of the night one of us said All Bets Off. in the morning we had all of these crazy band names written down in drunken handwriting, it was down to All Bets Off and For the Win. So the next night we played a game of beer pong 2 vs 2 of the band of four who would be the winner of the name. All Bets Off won 5 games in a row. We thought it was ment to be. We were so stoked on that name you have no idea, it sparked up a new chapter in our life to get a little more into this band... So we had no idea that you guys were out there at all. And we had that name up for 3 months until you email me in the morn with a website that is just a list of people bashing on us for no reason that I knew at the time. Little did I know that it was about a band name. I got pissed off right away at this whole thing in general. But then my bass player took it into his own hands without talking to the band that he was going to change our name and write you a letter saying sorry. That made me a little more upset that he did that behind our backs without talking to us... you know how it goes. So thats why I freaked out and said "WE ARE NOT CHANGING OUR NAME" But we've been thinking that we might do so. Not cuz you said we have to or that we got so many emails, more so because all of your fans that are so dedicated to you and are very nice. I got a lot of emails from your fans, which i'm sure you put them up to, which we're very long and well thought out. Some mean but most of them very very nice asking us to change our name in a nice way. I feel IF I got a ton of emails just saying fuck you this fuck you that we wouldn't have been so willing. So you can thank your fans for being good people and taking a mature way out of this. So we will be changing the band name soon. I'm sorry about all this and if there is any miss spelling in this page as well ha ha... We have a showing coming up and all the work is done with that to have our name is how it is, so all I ask is if we can keep the name till the show is done and we come up with a new one? I hope we are good now and we can become friends after this. Sorry

well we spoke recently about the current conflict and it looks like David in my band isn't being cooperative like the rest of us. To anything regarding what he has said and his lack of grammar we all are sticking with what I said already. The rest of us are pissed off at him and we think its just fucked up that he has the nerve to go over our head. Its stupid and the 3 of us are siding with you and we are changing our name. Like I said before and it sucks that I have to keep apologizing for him. I also apologize for him testing your patience its really just childish and we don't know where this is coming from because he usually doesn't act like this. Like I told you before I am not a tool and I am being sincere and so is Matt and the other Ryan. I don't really mind your fans sending us the e-mails because I really just want nothing to do with this. Hopefully you will believe me and know that we honestly didn't know about you guys because David was the one that did the research on the name. If I knew what I do now this situation would have never came up. So if he says anything on that its on him. I can't get on the bands myspace to change it so I am sorry I wish I could. I apologize about this sincerely and I just wanted to write to you to tell you that whatever that has been said are his actions and his actions alone and we all did talk about this and now he just has this ego and it's pissing us off. hopefully we can come to a conclusion soon because I really don't want to get mixed up in this.

I'm glad to hear that you and David have reached a consensus and will
be changing your name. Granted, I have heard that before from you
guys. I trust that this time, you mean it. Against my better judgment,
and the opinions of others who care about this situation, I am willing
to allow you to use the name until your October show with Energy in
Denver. I know how hard it is to have a new band and to get a great
show like that. So I understand the need to focus now on your set and
not this situation. However, I must insist that the minute the amps
are turned off and the lights go out at the end of the night, you no
longer use the name in any capacity. This includes removing all
references to it on your Myspace profile, Facebook, et al. And, not
just the profile name, but the banners, ads and anything else that
bears the name All Bets Off. You have assured that this would be done,
and if you fail to keep your word, the consideration that I have
extended throughout this situation will come to a very abrupt end. I
am friends with a number of people in Denver who will be attending
your show, as well as with people on the tour itself, so if you
slander my good name or the good name of my All Bets Off, I assure you
that it will get back to me. I will assume this won’t happen. I wish
you all the best with your band and hope our conflicts are now ended.
